Ian's Shoelace Site has always been $ FREE $ for visitors. However,
the costs of running a Number 1 ranked web-site are substantial, and it's not easy operating on a "shoestring"
budget! The site therefore relies on various different forms of financial support to help keep it on the Internet.
I've tried to keep ads to a minimum, placing them unobtrusively on the right side or at the very bottom of the page.

Ian's Shoelace Site uses Google to display relevant sponsors' ads based on the content
of the pages (unless your browser setup blocks such ads). These generally contain products about footwear, fashion,
sports, knotting, early learning, and countless other subjects related to shoelaces.
Amazon Store
I've searched the trusted on-line bookstore
Amazon.com
for books about shoelaces, knots and other related information. You'll find a selection on my
Shoelace Books page and other appropriate places. Amazon pays me a tiny commission for
every book sold through these links. The best part is, you don't even have to buy one of the listed books
- after clicking through to the Amazon site, you can buy anything you like! (eg. DVDs, consumer electronics,
you name it.)
